Tom Kuo, M.D. grew up in sunny southern California and attended the University of California at Irvine. He opted to further his education on the East coast, beginning with medical school at Boston University, and later specializing in Emergency Medicine at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. After taking time off to explore Nepal, Thailand, Taiwan, Fiji, Australia, and Brazil, Dr. Kuo now returns to his roots to practice medicine in Los Angeles. When not at work, Tom prefers to hike the local mountains, explore L.A.’s art scene, and work with local out-reach programs.
